With the CEO program, YAAY ME, INC will provide a high quality, structured workforce development training. This six week, dual training program will include job readiness and business training allowing participants to succeed in today’s evolving workforce and/or as an entrepreneur. Last, the program will introduce potential career choices with an emphasis on choices thriving in a virtual capacity.
What Can You Expect?
The program structure is designed to offer multiple online learning options which will include both live and pre-recorded training; independent learning activities and assignments, virtual project based learning project, and group activities using live break rooms.
WEEK ONE : INTRODUCTIONS
The program will provide job readiness training to include (1) Career/job search techniques; (2) Values clarification and personal development
WEEK TWO : JOB READINESS
We will discuss how to (1) Prepare resumes and job applications; (2) Interview techniques including mock interviews; (3) Appropriate attire for various occupations and interviews; and (4) Appropriate follow-up services.
WEEK THREE : FINANCIAL LITERACY
We will provide a structured financial literacy training that teaches basic personal financial management skills such as balancing a checkbook and understanding the basic principles of earning, spending, saving, and credit.
WEEK FOUR : GRAPHIC DESIGN / CREATIVE CAREERS
We will discuss the basic fundamentals of graphic design, how to begin creating your own creative portfolio's, and how to start a creative career in the digital and social media space.
WEEK FIVE : USING TECHNOLOGY
We will discuss the uses of computer software such as Google Suite and MS Office, leading applications and other forms of technology. There will be an emphasis on the increasing and novel reliance on technology in the workforce and business and how technology impacts the evolving workforce.
WEEK SIX : FINAL PROJECT
A capstone project will be assigned to execute using mixed media and demonstrating the skills developed from the overall program experience. Program facilitators will provide an outline of the capstone projects and you will present your project during the final week.
